MSSU is currently seeking candidates for full-time faculty appointments in the Nursing Department starting August 2020 in Joplin, Missouri. Successful candidates should be prepared to teach both didactic and clinical nursing courses. Clinical expertise is sought in the areas of adult health, mental health, or maternal child.
The position requires a demonstrated commitment to teaching excellence and advising at the undergraduate level. A terminal degree in nursing is preferred however, candidates who have a graduate degree in nursing or related field with experience in adult learning will be considered.
